Spring is here! On March 24th, volunteers from Melodies For the Mind performed in front of a large audience at the Brightview Senior Living Facility located in Annandale, VA. The performers executed a diverse musical program in two units of the home, one of which being the memory unit. This was the very first time we introduced a second type of stringed instrument: the cello! In addition, baked treats were provided as refreshments. Although the drive may have been a bit lengthy, the excited expressions of the residents fully made up for it.
